Vacation is a great and exciting moment for us to relax and spend quality time with our friends and loved ones. Just as God wants us to work hard and be fruitful in Genesis- 1, 2. He also wants us to rest, relax after hard work and go on vacation. God himself shows us by resting after the creation of heaven and earth. He knows the importance of having a break from work that was why in Mark 6:30-32 Jesus says “Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest”. Jesus knew His followers were exhausted and need to relax their body and mind to gain more energy and be more effective when we are back to work. In Exodus 20: 28, God commanded us to rest “Remember the Sabbath to keep it holy”.
