Faith and Courage 1 Corinthians 16:13 – Bible Verses for the Day
Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong. (1 Corinthians 16:13)
My brother, the question you are asked today by the Apostle Paul himself: Is your faith Courageous?
What is courage? It is the belief that there is something much more important than fear.
There is something much more important than fear
Courage is overcoming fear. It is sometimes assumed that a brave person is not afraid of anything. But really, a brave man is afraid, but he overcomes fear. This is true courage.
So, true courage in faith is when giving glory to God is more important to you than fear.
When the apostle Paul says to be courageous, he first urges you to show real acts of courage in specific life situations. And such situations happen every day. It takes real courage to act, by faith, as a Christian, not as all people who serve sin do, or atheist society. Standing firm and not betraying your faith is sometimes very scary.
But Jesus makes it clear: You are the salt of the world (Matthew 5:13). If salt ceased to be salty, there would be a real tragedy.
Your mission, my brother, is to be salt in this world.
Glory of God is more important in my life than fear
Tell yourself very clearly – Faith in God and the glory of God is more important in my life than fear.
And so my brother, you are a warrior, you are a hero, you are a messenger of God on this earth. You are – the pride of God. Yes, God is proud of you. He blesses you. He strengthens your strength by his grace. Therefore, you are strong, firm, and brave in all the struggles of life. Faith and courage are the blood that flows in your veins. In the glory of God.
You are the guardian of the Kingdom of God! You are like an angel, with a sword of fire.
Never forget this. Remember who you are. Don’t betray yourself. Do not betray, our Lord Jesus Christ.
The grace of God and all his blessings will guide you today and protect your every step.
